Match Reports Update every monday Sunday 9th September 2001 King George's Pumas  V  Wednesbruy Town Boys Home King George's Pumas kicked off the 1st match of the season today against Wednesbury Town Boys.  Our football team having 80% possession of the ball enabled us to have a good result of a 3 - 0 win.  At the same time Wednesbury Town Boys battled well and didn't give up.  Full credit to our lads for their hard work in getting this result. Squad fixtures Tuesday 11th September 2001 King George's Pumas V Tettenhall Athletic Another good win for the team.  We were 1 - 0 down then the boys took a good turn around to make it 3 - 1.  Tettenhall were awarded a penalty bringing the score to 3 - 2.  The final score was a win to the Pumas 4 - 2.  Well done lads keep it up. Sunday 16th September 2001 Hilltop V King George Pumas The Pumas went into this game knowing it would be a tough.  This did not dishearten them in any way.  The game began with a minutes silence for the tragedy in New York. Then the pumas battled well. Hilltop had many chances to score which were all well saved by Pumas goalkeeper, including a penelty saved.  The final score being 3 - 0 to Hilltop Sunday 30th September 2001 King Georges Pumas V Darlaston Town Lions The Pumas started well and held Darlaston before half time to be only 2 - 1 down.  The second half the pumas lost it and ended the game with Darlaston 7 goals to 1.  Darlaston played well and it was a good  win, well played to both teams Sunday 7th October 2001 Wednesbury Tigers V King Georges Pumas An evenly matched game the Tigers scored off a penalty in the first half,  both teams played well but not much passing of the ball by either of the teams.  Pumas scored a goal in the last 10 minutes of the game bringing thr final score to  1 - 1.  Giving the Pumas a well deserved point.
